    Gets an encoding for the 16 bit unicode (UTF-16) format with little endian byte order. It is also know as simply 'Unicode' encoding in the .NET Framework and is used by default for strings.

    Requirements

    Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
