Combine(String,String) Method
In This Topic
Combines two paths into one.
Syntax
public System.string Combine( 
   System.string path1,
   System.string path2
)

Parameters

path1
path2

Return Value

The combined path. If one of the specified paths is a null or empty string, this method returns the other path. If path2 contains an absolute path, this method returns path2.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
System.ArgumentExceptionpath1 or path2 contains one or more of the invalid path characters.
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
