Create(Stream,NEncoding) Method

Creates a XML writer to write data to the given stream encoding the string data with the given encoding.

Syntax

public static NXmlWriter Create( 
   System.IO.Stream stream,
   NEncoding encoding
)

Parameters

stream: The stream to use for writing XML data.
encoding: The encoding to use.

Return Value

A XML writer that can be used to write XML data to the given stream.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	Thrown if the given stream to write to or the specified encoding is null.

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
