Migration from Nevron Diagram for .NET

If you are still using our legacy diagramming component Nevron Diagram for .NET, we strongly recommend you migrate to NOV Diagram. While Nevron Diagram for .NET will continue to be supported, our future development efforts are focused on NOV Diagram for .NET

NOV Diagram offers a lot of improvements and new features like:

• Better architecture
• Pages in drawings
• Formula-based smart shapes and shapes with code-behind
• Better shape customization
• Page themes and shape styles
• Modern UI, including a ribbon
• Rich text formatting of shape texts, including support for tables
• Much better Visio drawings and stencils import and export
• Family tree diagrams with GEDCOM import and export
• Very large collection of shape libraries

To make the migration of your Nevron Diagram drawings and libraries to NOV Diagram easier, we have created a converter, which you can use to load your old drawings and stencils and save them in the new format used by NOV Diagram. The application has two tabs "Drawing" and "Library" for converting Nevron Diagram drawings or libraries to their NOV Diagram equivalents. Use the "Open Nevron Drawing" or the "Open Nevron Library" button to open a drawing or a library and it will automatically be converted to a NOV drawing or library. You can then click "Save NOV Drawing" or "Save NOV Library" to save it to a file, which can be loaded in NOV Diagram.
