Tries to find a child with the specified name, which is declared in this or base schemas

Syntax

Parameters

name: child name

Return Value

child with the specified name, or null if such child does not exist

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
