TryParse Method (NColor)

Tries to create a color from the given string.

Syntax

value = NColor.TryParse(str, color)

Parameters

str: The string to parse.
color: The resulting color.

Return Value

True if the parsing was successful and false otherwise.

Remarks

The string must be in one of the following formats:

1. In HEX format (e.g. FF0066 or #FF0066)

2. A name of a predefined color (e.g. "green")

3. A color function (e.g. "RGB(255, 210, 68)"

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
