Loads a new document in the view.

Syntax

public virtual NPromise<bool> NewDocumentAsync( 
   System.bool reportErrors,
   System.bool askToSaveChanges
)

Parameters

reportErrors: whether errors should be reported to the user
askToSaveChanges: whether the user should be prompted to save changes to the document, if it is modified

Return Value

a promise which resolves to true, if a new document was successfully created and loaded in the view, otherwise false

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
