Classify Method (NDataGrouping)

Creates the specified number of data ranges (classes) for the given set of data points (distinct values).

Syntax

public abstract System.double[] Classify( 
   INList<double> data,
   System.int classCount
)

Parameters

data: The data points to classify.
classCount: The number of classes desired.

Return Value

An array of doubles representing the data ranges. For example an array {0, 12, 32.1} means that there are 3 data ranges: [0, 12), [12, 32.1) and [32.1, Infinity).

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
