Ribbon layout panels extend the ordinary layout panels available in NOV with additional functionality needed to dynamically resize ribbon widgets when the size of the ribbon changes. NRibbonLayoutPanel is the base class for all ribbon layout panels. It implements the INRibbonWidget interface and as any widget that implements this interface takes part in the ribbon layout. NOV provides 3 types of ribbon panels, the combination of which will help you create stunning ribbon interfaces.

• Ribbon Collapsible Panel - layouts widgets in left to right direction when in Large state and in top to bottom direction when in Medium or Small state.
• Ribbon Wrap Flow Panel - places widgets on two or three lanes.
• Ribbon Stack Panel - groups several widgets together. This panel is typically used in a ribbon wrap flow panel in order to prevent a set of widgets to break on several lanes.
